I love riding trials so much that it’s hard to stop once I start. I was able to pull off some pretty cool lines until I literally just could not ride anymore.
To try something different this year, I hosted an indoor trials jam at the Peace Dale Ramp Room in RI. Highlights included a trials mini comp and a gap contest.
Despite the forecast for rain, I needed to get out on my trials bike. The slots in the pallets messed with me in multiple ways. The slippery wood didn’t help.
This late winter/early springtime has been giving us plenty of rain and clouds, but we were lucky to have a beautiful (yet windy) day to ride between rainy days.
There’s a lot to do in preparation for the 2024 Indoor Winter Trials Jam, so I’ve been busy. Last weekend I built some stuff, though there’s still more to do.
For a few weeks we had some snow on the ground keeping us from riding on the rocks. With the snow gone, the rocks are open riding again!
We got some snow this week making our usual spots unrideable. So we went to Tony’s place to ride on sketchy wooden features in the parking lot.
We’ve been remodeling our kitchen, so I haven’t ridden much lately. Despite having the builders working in the house, I needed to get on my bike and ride.
I’m off to a pretty slow start with respect to trials riding in 2024. But I managed to make some videos.
