Sometimes the little things in life can leave a strong impression. After our group trials ride this past week, a chicken came out of the trails and into the parking area to visit our crew. After a few minutes, it came right over to us and visited each of us in turn. It seemed drawn to the one of the trials bikes that was laying on the ground, as shown in the photo below. Even though we were complete strangers to it, the feathered critter “socialized” with us like we were good friends. I always find it interesting when animals demonstrate “personality”, so I thought this was a fun encounter.
