This past Wednesday was another hot and muggy day. We decided to session just one of our typical spots at Beebe / Hidden Pond. Even this one spot had plenty of different lines to ride, including some that were rather challenging.
I was able to do one of the biggest drops I’ve ever done (though the camera makes it look small). The first few attempts didn’t go smoothly – I landed pretty hard, but somehow avoided crashing. Since the drop is higher than I’m used to, I was focusing too much on not crashing instead of focusing on the proper technique. After several attempts, I was able to relax and do it properly.
